I was in terrible pain, so I went to Beach Family and Urgent Care close to where we were staying. They took an x-ray, put a giant splint on my leg, and told me to use the crutches and stay off that leg. Of course, the cost of the reinforcement and crutches was $122. I was able to get an appointment with your practice the next day. When Dr. Merritt reviewed the x-ray and examined my knee, he told me not to use the crutches and do not put the splint back on. Boy, was I happy? He then gave me a cortisone injection, and my knee almost immediately felt better. The next time we are at the beach, and I have a problem, I will contact your practice. Thanks again for promptly getting me the appointment.”
