“I have osteoarthritis tomorrow in my hands. While now, things can be difficult for me to stop the progression of this. Dr. Peters has stopped the pain in three joints; both middle fingers and the base of my left thumb. Once he finished the pain with injections. I have not experienced any more pain. It has been longer than five years since I have had any pain in my thumb.”

“The doctor came in, and we were off and running! He was to the point, discussed my options for treatment of Dupuytren’s Contracture, and discussed just what this disease is. I didn’t have too many questions on this initial visit, so we were in and out in short order. I liked the stay and felt like we have settled on 2 or 3 approaches. The next scheduled appointment is Feb 2020. If changes are minimal, I understand we will continue to watch the situation, or if things are getting worse, Dr. Ted Peters will begin treatment.”
– Larry S.

“Dr. Ted Peters came in and in just a few minutes, diagnosed and treated my trigger finger thumb with a shot of cortisone. He explained he would instead treat it with a couple of shots, monitor the outcome, and only use surgery as a last resort. Works for me.”

“Twice, Dr. Peters has demonstrated a judgment regarding my care that just personified the professional integrity that this man possesses. In 2009, as I am about to have a carpel tunnel repair on ONE wrist (literally, I was on the gurney), he asked me if we could do both, citing that according to my chart my deductible was met, it was Dec 18, and if I did the other one in January, it would cost me a deductible all over again. I told him I was afraid of not having a hand to use, and he asked me to trust him. I did, and everything turned out fine. Not only did he save me $4000, but another day off work, and another trip to the outpatient center. My hands are still PERFECT, btw, eleven years later! At yesterdays appointment, he thoroughly examined my injured elbow, then suggested that we take the less invasive approach of just "wrapping it and watching it", instead of doing an aspiration right then. In times like these, I find it just amazing that there is still a "Dr. Welby" out there...lol (you have to be over 50 to get that joke). I will never let anyone else take care of my hands, wrists and elbows. I truly love this guy.”
