“Dr. Whitman and the staff are wonderful.”
– Barbara N.
“Dr. Whitman did a total knee replacement on me in February of this year. Prior to my surgery and at my initial office visit with him, I was very impressed by his professionalism. He ordered x-rays and then went on to explain what I had going on with my knees. Not once did he come out and say I had to have surgery. He wasn’t pushy. After my knee replacement, I had to spend the night. I was given reasonable pain control. The day of surgery and the following day, I had physical therapy. I had a total of three PT treatments before discharge, with a focus on how important post-op PT was. I can’t say enough about him or his office. I would definitely use them again.”

“I am happy with my experience with Dr. Whitman. He examined my wrist thoroughly and provided an obvious explanation in layman terms. I felt that Dr. Whitman went to extra effort to ensure that I understood the problem, options for treatment, and the appropriate post-treatment behavior. In my case, he was able to administer the medication during my visit. The most important thing is that he took the time to communicate with me to understand my issue and provide excellent care.”

Shoulder Reviews

“Dr. Whitman has consistently been concise, precise, and straightforward with treatment options. He explains what the goal is, potential risks, and margins to expect for recovery. Dr. Whitman has, in the past, also repaired my shoulder. I am very grateful that after physical therapy and continued exercises full range of motion has been restored. I trust him implicitly as a patient and a former staff nurse to his patients at BRMC.”
