“My wife and I are both patients of Dr. Thaxter. He is a friendly and knowledgeable doctor. We were delighted with the results of our surgeries. Due to an ongoing issue, I needed to see him again. During my recent appointment, Dr. Thaxter listened to my concerns and explained what was going on and what my options were. Thank you!”

“Dr. Thaxter performed hugely successful total hip arthroplasties on my right and left. I saw Dr. Thaxter on October 23rd for severe pain in my right hip and leg that resulted from a somewhat regular physical activity on October 19th and October 22nd. After reviewing the x-ray imagery of my bone and lumbar spine, Dr. Thaxter could not identify any specific issue other than some evidence of arthritis. He referred me to Dr. Sison for further assessment and treatment.”

“Hip replacement, went very well. He didn’t cut my mussels an my only therapy was to walk, walk, walk. It was wonderful. It’s been a few years and it’s still wonderful. Dr. Thaxter is such a great surgeon and explains everything. He is so easy to talk to. Next he will be doing my knee. Don’t want it, but when I have to I will only have him.”

“Over the past 25 years, I have seen several orthopedic surgeons for my knee pain and three knee surgeries. I was looking for a new orthopedic doctor, and a friend of mine highly recommended Dr. Steven Thaxter. Today was my first visit with Dr. Thaxter, and I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and expertise. I got given more information on my first visit with him than I have in seven years with my previous orthopedic doctor. I learned that while Cortisone injections on my right knee, which is a candidate for a knee replacement due to my bone on arthritic bone joints are ok. Those same injections over time could cause loss of cartilage in my left knee way too rapidly. I was very impressed on my first visit and was thrilled with Dr. Thaxter’s thorough explanation of all of my options. I was also relieved when the injection I received in my right knee did not hurt! If you are looking for an orthopedic surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Thaxter!”
