“I had a severe case of SCFE as a teenager, which led to over 25 years of constant pain. “Excellent surgical procedure. I was up using a walker and moving my leg 2 hours after surgery. Not much surgical pain (level 2), only swelling and tightness of muscles. The sharp arthritis hip pain was gone—no setbacks if you follow doctors' orders. The healing process takes time. I was using the walker for five weeks, then transfer to using the cane for eight weeks. But it pays off at the end. Its been three months, and I am slowly walking without any support (Cane). I would say 65 % healed.”

“My second knee replacement surgery. The first one got done by a different doctor not connected with North Texas Orthopedics. The difference between the two was like night and day. Dr. Williams was excellent, and the surgery went well with no complications. They had me up just hours after the surgery. My first knee replacement, I laid in the hospital for three days after the surgery before I was allowed out of bed. The rehabilitation was excellent. I experienced very little pain in drastic contrast to my first surgery. All of my questions got answered promptly. Everything got explained before it happened. I could not be happier with my experience.”

“I was experiencing constant pain and could hardly walk because my knees had gotten so bad my legs were bowing. I was also falling a lot because I was off balance. I kept hurting myself, and had a lot of discomfort sleeping, could not get comfortable at night. Getting up and down curbs, steps, and not being able to get out of cars or chairs quickly was not fun. In short, I was miserable. I got recommended to Dr. Williams, and it changed everything. From the minute I walked into his office, I was happy. I was treated so kindly by the staff I felt they cared and would take good care of me. Dr. Williams was so personable, knowledgable, and put me at ease. He was very thorough with his exam, answered all of my questions and was very intentional with his directions about how I needed to understand what the procedure would be like and what it would take on my part to recover appropriately. He was so right because I followed his direction, and now with the help of the surgery and physical therapy, I can walk, run, go up and downstairs, and get on the floor to play with my grandchildren and get back up with no pain. I cannot express how happy I am with the care I received from Dr. Williams and his staff.”
