“Dr. Phillips explained my surgery to myself and my husband in Layman's terms, which I appreciated. He spent well over an hour answering our questions and making me feel a bit more comfortable about the surgery. He stopped in to see me before surgery and after surgery in Recovery, trying to alleviate my pain as they were having a hard time doing so due to many allergies to meds. Due to an adverse allergic reaction, I ended up being in hospital seven days for my TKR. Dr. Phillips came to see me every day but one, and he let me know the day before he probably would not be in, but Travis would be. He would stop in am and pm to see how I was doing and was there anything I needed. Dr. Phillips is an extremely caring Doctor, treated me as if I was the only one of importance at the time he was talking to me. I never felt rushed in, asking him questions or felt like I was keeping him from something. Sadly a lot of doctors have lost the "caring" part of doctoring. It was very nice to have a Dr. who put me at ease, never felt rushed in asking questions, too many Doctors these days forget that the Patient is why they became a doctor, and they should treat their patients with a caring attitude, and compassion. Very refreshing to have such a genuinely caring, kind, yet professional Doctor. I'm happy that I chose Dr. Phillips to do my surgery and would recommend him to anyone I know needing a joint replacement.”
