“I went to Johnson city office first rather than Bristol, so I was late. I figured on a long wait. When I arrived, the wait time was short. Dr. Phillips read the x-rays I provided and was prompt seeing me. He was very helpful in helping me. I would recommend him to anyone.”

“My first time as a patient of Dr. Phillips, and he was helpful. He explained all that could get done for me and got right to work scheduling treatment. He got me right to X-ray and done. I felt well cared for and at ease.”

“I was delighted with the way he was with my mother with her shoulder; he is very caring for his patients, and when we in a follow-up appt. He asked about the problems I was having with my right hand, he has seen me in the same day I was there with my mother, and start viewing what the problem was that's causing my numbness.”

“I had a good experience with Dr. Phillips. He explained to me about my knee, what the problem was, and several things we could do to help it. I took an injection and had to return in several weeks to let him recheck it. I was pleased with my visit and how it went.”

“It was great. Everything from checking in through checking out went quickly, including x-rays. It got recommended to try rehab and not surgery — great discussion regarding my shoulder.”

“Dr. Phillips explained my surgery to myself and my husband in Layman's terms, which I appreciated. He spent well over an hour answering our questions and making me feel a bit more comfortable about the surgery. He stopped in to see me before surgery and after surgery in Recovery, trying to alleviate my pain as they were having a hard time doing so due to many allergies to meds. Due to an adverse allergic reaction, I ended up being in hospital seven days for my TKR. Dr. Phillips came to see me every day but one, and he let me know the day before he probably would not be in, but Travis would be. He would stop in am and pm to see how I was doing and was there anything I needed. Dr. Phillips is an extremely caring Doctor, treated me as if I was the only one of importance at the time he was talking to me. I never felt rushed in, asking him questions or felt like I was keeping him from something. Sadly a lot of doctors have lost the "caring" part of doctoring. It was very nice to have a Dr. who put me at ease, never felt rushed in asking questions, too many Doctors these days forget that the Patient is why they became a doctor, and they should treat their patients with a caring attitude, and compassion. Very refreshing to have such a genuinely caring, kind, yet professional Doctor. I'm happy that I chose Dr. Phillips to do my surgery and would recommend him to anyone I know needing a joint replacement.”
