“Dr. Alci is lovely, very informative.”
– Wendy S.
“Mr. Alci has explained to me what he sees in my x-ray but to give me a clear view of what is happening he told me he has to wait for my MRI so he can see what is going on with my lumbar. I can't wait to hear what is wrong with me.”

“Very efficient and knowledgeable. The appointment was 2:30, and I was out of there by 3:35. Nurses and staff were on top of things. I need an MRI recommended by Dr. Alci and will follow up.”

“He was very articulate when responding to my questions. He was thorough in evaluating my condition, and my care plan was very successful. His nurse was very responsive when I called for a prescription and a referral for PT.”
– Wilma J.
“I was very nervous and scared about what was going on with my back. The ladies at the desk were accommodating with enrollment. The doctor set and explained my condition very clearly so I could understand it. And now we'll go on to the next steps to figure out what needs to get done.”
– Nancy G.
“Very impressed with check in as a new patient. Completing forms was very easy. The staff was very friendly and did care that I was ushered through the process. I was impressed with efficiency of the process that kept everything on time as scheduled. Dr. Had a full understanding of my situation, explained to me the steps we would take to hopefully reach a good resolution to my situation.”

“I have had significant issues with both my back and my neck that have significantly impacted my life. Things that I once loved to do, such as cooking, outdoor festivities, boating, events with my family, I could just no longer do. Simple things are working at my desk, unloading the dishwasher, picking up my puppy to play. Drying my hair and turning my head to kiss my husband good night. These all became a difficult task for me. To lose my independence was difficult. I could no longer be me. I needed help to do everything, even shave my legs. I felt as if I had lost all of my self, all of who I was. I was in horrific pain. I was scared. I was referred to him very quickly after a brief after my Physical Therapist consulted with my Dr. He was quick to identify the issue and to take over a plan of action from that point on.”
– Tonya S.
“I think he made the correct decision to send me to Rehab to see if that would help before any more drastic measures got taken. It did help a lot. Hopefully, the leg continues to strengthen, and there is not a recurrence. The Conway rehab was excellent. I commend Dennis and all the therapists who assisted in my treatment.”
– David V.
“All the staff was efficient and thorough and, most importantly, kind. From check-in to check out, everything went very smoothly. I want to thank Doctor Alci and all the staff for their excellent care.”

“Every person I encountered was respectful, kind and informative.”

“Doctor Alci and staff we pleasant, professional and listened well. I don’t have a lot of trust with doctors but I have been very impressed with Dr Alci and Dr Noble.”
– Lisa J.
“Dr. Alci was nice and direct in his evaluation. He did not suggest unnecessary medical procedures. He thoroughly explained my imaging (X-rays and MRI) and left me with a clear understanding of my condition.”

“Initially, I saw Dr. Tyler Noble because he had previously seen me for a knee problem about a year ago. After listening to my current severe pain complaints that I was experiencing in my right hip and upper and lower right leg, if I took even 2-3 steps, Dr. Noble ordered an MRI. When he received the MRI results, he referred me to Dr. Alci. Dr. Alci saw me and explained that I had suffered a severely herniated disc between L2 and L3 and that Dr. Tyler recommended surgery. As he did this, he told me what type of procedure was needed, the risks involved, the expected success rate, and the expected time of recovery. Two weeks ago, I had a discectomy and laminectomy and fusion. The severe pain I had been experiencing was gone the morning after surgery. Now two weeks after surgery, I still have some back pain better described as discomfort off and on where the surgery got performed. I can walk around with a walker longer distances or a cane for shorter lengths of 75-100 yards. Every day things get better. I hope to be able to drive short miles within the next week and look forward to a complete recovery in the next 6-8 weeks. I would recommend Dr. Alci to anyone with back issues.”
– Nelson T.
“Very satisfied with the entire staff during my many office visits. Dr. Alci performed above my best expectations during my two operations and my recoveries. I recommend him to everyone. Conway hospital experience was also enjoyable since I had never been in a hospital before.”

“At my most recent appointment with Dr. Alci, he reviewed with me, the process of placing the Nevro Spinal Stimulator device in my back permanently. I had started this process several months ago, after several epidural injections by Dr. Alci, and several months of physical therapy. Dr. Alci performed some minor surgery to place the wires for the Nevro device in my back so I could try the tool for a week-long trial basis, which was quite successful. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete the process of having the permanent device implanted because I had to leave SC and go north to WV for the summer months. I just returned to SC at the beginning of November. Since it had been more than six months since I had seen Dr. Alci, I got told that the surgery to permanently place the Nevro Spinal Stimulator in my back could not get scheduled until I saw Dr. Alci again for re-evaluation. I was surprised and had some concern that Dr. Alci did not x-ray my back yet, even though I told him it was much worse than when I had left SC at the end of March. While in WV, I returned to the spinal surgeon, who had performed a multi-level back fusion on me and had him do several epidural injections as a temporary measure of pain relief. The doses were short-lived, and the temporary pain relief has since worn off. I am anxiously awaiting the implant of the Nevro Spinal Stimulator, which should get scheduled as soon as Dr. Alci receives clearances from my primary care doctor, my nephrologist, and my cardiologist. Dr. Alci is a superior spinal surgeon. I have the utmost confidence in him and trust his professional opinions and advice. My husband and now, most recently, our daughter are also patients of Dr. Alci.”
