“I am an extremist. I work hard & I play even harder. My husband and I run a bar/restaurant, so 60+hours a week on our feet is a normal workweek. I was a runner, a catcher, & did roller derby for years. Over a couple of decades, I have had five knee surgeries with Dr.Mendel on my right leg. We have gotten to be a pretty good team.
I would destroy the knee, and he would fix it. I have since slowed down a bit, and I am hoping this 5th one will be the last he will have to fix on this leg as I now have a total replacement. I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon & team to repair the destruction I have done. He is always professional, always looking into the best & most efficient way to get me back on my feet again, always with understanding & always with a kind smile. It takes a lot of patience to deal with impatient patients, and that is what I am. If you are looking for the best. Look no further. Dr. Mendel and his staff are what you have been searching for. Not that I am looking forward to getting my left knee started any time soon, but I know from the way it feels & my x-rays and scans that it is only a matter of time till we get started. All I can say is..at least I won't have to do any "leg work" looking into where I will choose to have surgery & who will be my choice for a surgeon.
