“On Halloween this year, I suffered a freak accident that resulted in crushing the finger tip of my ring finger on my left hand. I checked into the Cleveland Clinic Emergency. After X-rays and a review with the staff, I was told they needed to call a Vero Orthopaedics hand specialist since no one at Cleveland Clinic Emergency could adequately address the injury. Fortunately, Dr. Paterson of Vero Orthopaedics was the on-call hand specialist. Within literally a half hour, Dr. Paterson arrived, and within a few minutes, he was preparing my finger for surgery. The fingertip was beyond repair and subsequently removed. The quality of care that Dr. Paterson displayed on a Halloween afternoon has followed with my appointments since. I could not have been more fortunate than to be under the care of Dr. Paterson and his staff.”
