When he came into the room where I was to see him, he immediately said that he read the list of doctors and the results of the visits. He took the time to examine my hands and gave special attention to my fingers. He explained the situation and told me what I did not have and what he was going to do. Then instructions upon arriving home and a weekly list of my progress. I liked his manner and found him to be sincere and very pleasant. The results have been amazing. I can write as my fingers are not stiff, and I have more strength in my hand and almost no pain. Amazing. He will be pleased with his success, and I am too.”

“Dr. Lourie is Simply the Best! He is a compassionate, dedicated, and highly skilled doctor. He listens, addresses all questions you may have, and explains details in a way that is easy to understand. I had a thumb joint replacement and elbow surgery and received the absolute best care from Dr. Lourie and All of his staff.
Dr. Lourie goes above and beyond. I fell and broke the bones in my elbow on a late Friday evening. I reached out to the Dr,’s office for assistance, Dr. Lourie was not on call, but the doctor on call ( Dr. Ashley Mehl) contacted him. By Friday evening, he took charge of my case and provided the direction to have all the xrays needed for surgery. During such an uncertain time, with the COVID-19 virus, Dr. Lourie contacted me directly and made me feel like family, provided reassurance, and regularly checked on me. I am very grateful to Dr. Lourie and his staff for the exceptional care they provided. They were able to get me into surgery early that week for a successful repair. I am currently working with the talented Hand and Upper Extremity Physical Therapy Group.
