“I had a previous surgery from a Dr. at KU Med center and was not happy at all with his expertise. He had not told me the truth of what kind of rods and screws he put in my back. I got blown off when I tried to explain there was considerable pain after almost a year of recovery. Then to find out my rods had broke and had to do it all over again, but decided to research and found Dr. Whitaker. From the 1st time I met with him, I felt like someone was finally listening to me and promised to fix my back, and he looked to me, which I truly appreciated. I felt so confident that I had him do my surgery, and I am so happy with my results. He truly cared about my situation, and I cant tell you how much I appreciated everything he has done for me. I still have a few more months of recovery, but the difference is enormous, and I am finally feeling little pain, which will be gone soon. I genuinely believe.
